So today, we finally went out into the Garage to finish boxing up all the stuff left over from our garage sale. We took a full truck load up to Goodwill. I was very excited to get rid of all the stuff once and for all! I love that feeling of accomplishing something! Besides taking stuff to Goodwill, we were able to throw some stuff away too. Since the stuff had been sitting in the garage for quite sometime, we had no room to hardly move in ther before; now we have plenty of room! And most important, we were able to get to our camping stuff for next weekend!!! (I am so excited about the float trip!!!) The basement storage room will be next!!!

After we messed around in the garage, Mike left to go out to Bill's for the remainder of the day and evening. They were going to do "guy" things, which consisted of using chainsaws, pulling trees with his truck, drinking beer, etc. So....since Mike was out of the house, Amanda and I had a "girls" afternoon/evening with Cathy & Laura (the neighbors). We swam, had a few beers (Amanda had soda), and Cathy grilled for us. It was very relaxing and nice to just hang out at home. (If anyone has had our chicken kabobs before; we marinated shrimp using the same recipe....it was great!)

New things.....seems like everyone is getting new things! Chris and Bill got a new house, Mike and Paula will soon have a new baby (which I can not wait until Ella is born!), Mikey and Nichole got new windows, etc. Well, guess what? I am getting something new!!! Tomorrow, we are going to buy all new interior doors for our house!!!! (FINALLY! and then the new base boards/trim will becoming shortly after.) I am so excited! Anyway.....at least we will have room now in our garage to store the doors until we are ready to install them. ;o)
